On July 4th, JET Hawaii Forwarders joined the 76th Annual Kailua Independence Day Parade. The event brought together thousands of people from across Windward Oʻahu. It was a day celebrated with decorated floats, community spirit, and joyful expressions of unity.
For 76 years, the Kailua parade has been a special tradition in the community. Each year, families, businesses, and groups join in to celebrate freedom and unity. Marching bands, keiki performers, and generations of residents lined the streets in celebration.
This year’s theme, Waves of Aloha, was chosen to highlight the kindness and connection that run through the community—just like the ocean waves around us. Aloha can be seen in small everyday acts and in big events like this one. By joining the celebration, JET was happy to support and connect with the people who make Kailua so special.
Being part of the parade was one way the JET team continued its commitment to community involvement and supporting local.
